Fashion & Wearable Art

When I started creating adornment for the entire body, I called myself a wearable artist. Flora, fauna and storytelling  has always informed my art and my jewellery practice. Having the skill set to create intimate meaningful objects from metal set me on a path to think bigger, to want more. What was once wearable art transformed into avant-gard performance fashion.

The body moves, twists and turns in ways that are compelling, not only to the eye, but to the soul. Using the entire human form, along with movement, music and dance, led to creating my unique brand of art. This branch of my art practice led to exposure to the Canadian fashion industry, affording the opportunity to meet amazing like-minded creatives and open my mind to a new platform of storytelling through a broadened view of the body.
